Job Summary:
As a Truck Driver with Z Force Transportation, you will be responsible for the transportation of waste materials from collection points to local landfills. You will ensure timely, safe, and efficient delivery while following all company and regulatory safety standards. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport Waste: Safely drive a truck to transport waste to designated landfills or recycling centers.
- Pre-trip Inspections: Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Waste Handling: Ensure proper loading and unloading of garbage, securing cargo as needed.
- Route Adherence: Follow prescribed routes and schedules while adhering to local traffic laws and landfill regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean driving record and operate the vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws, company policies, and environmental regulations.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers or team members during pick-up or delivery.
- Record Keeping: Complete required paperwork including load manifests, delivery logs, and vehicle maintenance reports.
- Post-trip Inspections: After each shift, complete post-trip inspections and report any issues or concerns regarding the truck or route.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL A
- Clean driving record with no serious violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) within the past 3-5 years.
- Previous experience: At least 2 years of experience driving Semi Trucks.
- Physical fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions.
- Knowledge of Safety Regulations and the ability to follow company protocols for handling waste materials.
- Reliable and punctual: Strong work ethic and ability to maintain regular attendance.
- Customer service skills: Ability to engage professionally with clients or team members as needed.
