Job Description:

Transportation of ready mix concrete from batch plant to customer sites and unloading of concrete and related products. Perform yard, plant, and truck repair and maintenance tasks when required. Mixer experience required. This position would be full time.

Principal Responsibilities:

Performing pre-trip vehicle safety inspections
Positioning truck under batch plant to be loaded
Communicating with dispatcher using 2-way radios and tablets
Performing proper record keeping and documentation requirements
Filling water tanks and fuel tanks
Checking slump of load
Picking up delivery ticket and delivering load to job site
Providing exceptional customer service
Working with customers to obtain vehicle access to job site and making judgments about accessibility of off road terrain
Lifting, carrying, attaching, and handling chutes weighing up to 55 lbs.
Unloading of materials
Rinsing chutes and truck to remove spilled concrete and dirt
Maintaining a clean vehicle and reporting any maintenance requirements
Performing yard plant and/or truck repair and maintenance tasks while in between driving assignments
Performing post-trip or end of day vehicle inspection
Fueling up truck at the end of each day

Qualifications:

♦ Valid minimum "B" endorsement commercial driver license
♦ Good and insurable driving record
♦ Ability to understand oral and written directions
♦ Ability to adhere to driver work rules and regulations

Physical Requirements:

♦ Climbing in and out of mixer truck and on truck )adders
♦ Lifting and carrying up to 55 pounds
♦ Driving a vehicle
♦ Walking, sitting, standing for extended periods of time

Work Remotely

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $32.50 per hour
