Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently using a 26 ft box truck. This role requires adherence to all safety regulations and company policies while ensuring timely delivery of goods to designated locations.

Duties

Operate trucks to transport freight over designated routes.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Manage route planning to optimize delivery efficiency.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (C) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with freight transportation.
Familiarity with operating a 26-ft box truck
Experience as a delivery driver or in route driving is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.
