Position Summary
The Linehaul (Shuttle) Driver is responsible for transporting full trailers from the Philadelphia Distribution Center (DC) to designated Company locations [i.e. FL] and returning loaded trailers to the DC. This role may also include occasional backhauls as operational needs require.

Key Responsibilities
As a Linehaul Driver, you will:
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete DOT inspection reports
- Safely transport loaded and empty trailers between the DC and domiciles
- Secure freight to ensure safe, undamaged transport
- Maintain accurate driver logs (manual or Samsara) in compliance with DOT regulations
- Complete linehaul, backhaul, and pickup runs as assigned
- Operate in a safe and professional manner to prevent injuries and protect company assets
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum age of 23
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
- At least 6 months or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Ability to meet Samuels Seafood Co. MVR and risk management standards
- Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level necessary to safely perform job duties, including comprehension of work instructions, safety procedures, and required communications
