Location: This is a Remote/Hybrid position – candidates living in Georgia or East Alabama (Birmingham eastward)
Travel: Occasional travel to HQ in Middle Georgia
Position Overview
Client is seeking an experienced Senior Driver Recruiter to join Client’s team. This strategic role will focus on sourcing, engaging, and onboarding high-quality CDL-A drivers for bulk transport and intermodal operations across the Southeast. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in recruiting top-notch drivers and owner-operators, ensuring that Client continues to meet their ambitious growth goals while maintaining their high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Lead the process for sourcing, screening, qualifying, and onboarding experienced CDL-A drivers, specifically for bulk and intermodal freight.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a steady pipeline of high-quality drivers through referrals, job boards, social platforms, and direct outreach.
- Leverage Industry Networks: Utilize your extensive network of industry contacts to source hard-to-find talent and keep the recruiting process efficient.
- Collaboration: Work closely with safety, operations, and HR teams to ensure candidates meet all qualifications and DOT compliance standards.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, identify trends, and report on bottlenecks or market shifts.
- Representation: Represent the company at job fairs, military events, and industry trade shows to attract top driver talent.
- Marketing Collaboration: Partner with marketing teams to fine-tune messaging and campaigns that resonate with regional drivers and attract the right candidates.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience recruiting CDL-A drivers in the transportation or trucking sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of bulk and intermodal freight markets.
- Regional Network: Existing network of driver contacts, particularly in Georgia and Alabama.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with ATS/CRM tools (e.g., Tenstreet, TruckersReport) and other driver sourcing platforms.
- Self-Motivation: Able to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a hybrid environment.
- Safety & Compliance: Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Veteran Experience: Familiarity recruiting military veterans or transitioning service members is a plus.
Preferred Location:
- Based in Georgia or Alabama (east of Birmingham). Candidates outside of this footprint will not be considered.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
