Key Responsibilities as a CDL A Instructor:
- Delivering CDL A Training: Provide hands-on instruction in Pre-Trip, Yard Skills, and Road Driving
- Safety-Focused: Emphasize safe, professional driving practices in every session
- Supporting Student Success: Help students prepare for the CDL exam
- Local Schedule: Consistent hours with no overnight travel – be home daily
CDL A Instructor Requirements:
- Nevada CDL Class A licensewith 5 years of verified Class A tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 7 years
- Clean driving record, with ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol tests
- Basic computer skills for scheduling and tracking student progress
- Strong communication skills and a passion for safety and teaching
