What You’ll Get to Do

The Driver Class B is focused on transporting and unloading glass to customers while interacting daily with customers to help resolve any issues that may arise and reports to the Production Manager.

This role is perfect for an individual who is detail oriented, safety centric, and has excellent customer service skills. A vital member of the Fleet Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job Responsibilities Include

Handle and transport metal products including loading, unloading, and securing various materials such as loose or crated metal.
Perform daily vehicle inspections, including pre-trip and post-trip checks to ensure safety and compliance.
Make multiple deliveries while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies, including adherence to Critical Safety Rules.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance while safely performing all assigned tasks.

What We Are Looking For

Experience & Licensing: Minimum of 2 years of recent CMV driving experience with a valid CDL Class B license issued by the state of residence.
Driving Record & Compliance: Clean driving record for the past 3 years with no tickets, suspensions, or accidents; must meet all DOT requirements, including holding a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
Availability & Paperwork: Must be able to work flexible start times and complete all required logbooks and paperwork accurately.
Skills & Abilities: Ability to read and interpret measurements and delivery schedules; tape measure proficiency.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong customer service and people skills are essential for success in this role; Communication with leadership is essential.
