Job Title: Truck Driver - Wide Load
Location: Lake City, South Carolina to Pensacola, Florida
Job Type: Over-the-Road (OTR)
Pay: $880 per trip.
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to transport wide load cargo from Lake City, SC to Pensacola, FL. This position involves over-the-road travel and requires a strong commitment to safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Two day trips including per diem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport wide load shipments to specified destinations.
- Plan and follow efficient routes while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and cargo.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including delivery receipts and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any issues or delays.
- Ensure cargo is secured and complies with all safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with wide load experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of over-the-road driving experience.
- Clean driving record and background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including securing cargo and long hours on the road.
