This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers a CDL Class A Driver, you’ll be the backbone of our logistics operation—ensuring timely deliveries, safe handling of freight. Your expertise in driving and load management will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.Mostly AMAZON loads.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement.
- Follow all federal, state, and company regulations related to commercial driving and transportation safety standards.
- Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to hours-of-service regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and address any issues that arise during transit.
Skills and Requirements
- Proven experience operating tractor-trailers.
- Strong knowledge of freight handling.
- Skilled in load securing techniques for various types of cargo to ensure safety during transit.
- Ability to drive route-driven schedules efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety compliance and vehicle maintenance awareness.
- Must be 25 year above.
- Minimum 1 year of Driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
