Job Description: Location: Jackson, MS
Compensation: $28/hr and up
Safety Bonus: You are eligible to earn up to $6,000 per year in safety bonuses in addition to the above compensation
Retention Bonus: Retention bonus of $2,500 ($500 paid at 3 months, $1,000 at 6 months, $1,000 at 12 months)
Days/Hours: The schedule will be mainly Monday-Friday, but some weekend deliveries may be required so we are looking for a driver who can be flexible and work weekends as needed. We are hiring two drivers. One driver will work an early day shift, approximately 6am start. The other driver will work an afternoon shift, approximately 1pm start.
Start times may vary depending customer needs.
Equipment Used: Semi tractor and tanker trailer, pumps, valves and hoses

The duties of this job will include but are not limited to:
- Perform flour transloading operations from rail car to truck to customer storage, per customer requirements
- Deliver bulk flour in a safe, courteous, timely and professional manner
- Connect and disconnect hoses for loading and unloading bulk flour
- Maintain shipping records and submit to accounting for billing purposes
- Maintain site sanitation requirements according to food grade transportation activities
- Schedule and facilitate equipment service both planned an unplanned to support reliable service
- Maintain Preventative Maintenance records
Requirements to be successful in this position:
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Class A CDL. Tanker endorsement preferred, but not required
- At least 2 years of tractor trailer driving experience, 3 years preferred
- For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
- Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
- Experience driving in the snow and ice
- Able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and reference checks and successfully pass Bartlett’s road test, which will include a proper pre and post trip inspection of the vehicle
Here are some of the physical requirements for this role:
- This job can be physically strenuous
- Climb into and out of the cab multiple times per shift
- Climb a ladder and steps 10 or more times per day
- Lift 50 or more pounds daily
- Drive and work in adverse weather conditions
- Hook and unhook hoses, open and close valves
