Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hauling sand in Williston, north Dakota using a hopper trailer. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills.
get paid 30% of the loads.
Responsibilities
- Operate and haul sand
- Load and unload safely and efficiently while ensuring proper handling of cargo.
- Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise on the road.
- Utilize manual transmission when required for specific driving conditions or vehicle types.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving principles.
- Experience with trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized vehicles is preferred.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures including loading and unloading techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
