A growing US Mail Hauler in the Western Region is looking for Class A Tractor Trailer Truck Drivers in Portland, OR with exposure to US Mail hauling and/or operations and experience driving under inclement weather conditions (snow, rain, wind etc.). PART-TIME and FULL-TIME Positions
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Licensing and Certifications :
- Must be 25 years or older.
- Must have good driving record (MVR)
- Possession of a valid Commercial Class A Driver’s License.
- 2 years or more of recent Class A driving experience.
- Must have exposure to inclement weather and use of snow chains.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Ability to pass USPS background check.
- Must submit to drug testing and a criminal background check.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical including functional capacity exam.
Daily Operational Detail:
- Driver shall drop and hook tractor from company yard (s) to the distribution center to a designated trailer and park at a designate dock.
- Complete Pre and Post Inspections
- Load and Unload Mail carts onto a 53 foot trailer.
- Route: Portland, OR to Klamath Falls and back to Portland, OR
- Runs are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week: Weekdays, night and day, and weekends
- Record Hours of Service on Samsara App
Schedule:
- Average hours per week: 40Hours
- Benefit pay at 40 Hours
- Average worked hour per day: 13+ hours

- We work during Holidays. Holiday Pay + Trip Pay
Compensation:
- Class A Tractor Trailer: $30.15 + $5.86 in Benefit Pay (paid up to 40 hours per week) - Benefit Pay is used to offset monthly health insurance or 401K/ROTH premiums. If you do not take company insurance & provide proof of other sufficient coverage or sign waiver, the Benefit pay will be added to your wages raising the total wage to $36.01 up to 40 hrs.
