EMPLOYEE STATUS: Full-Time
WORK SCHEDULE: Two shift: Mon - Fri and Tues - Sat; actual hours worked to be determined based on company and/or customer needs; includes overtime.
STARTING SALARY: $40.00 per hour
Some of what you will be doing:
- Maintain a daily delivery route by company standards.
- Follow company procedures for delivery and check-in of product.
- All invoices, money, credit memos are turned into office staff daily.
- Ensure truck is maintained and operated to DOT standards.
Physical Requirements
This position requires lifting cases weighing from 20-60 pounds repeatedly over 8 or more hours in a work day; as well as loading, pushing and pulling heavy product. Bending, reaching and squatting throughout the shift while loading and moving products. May require sitting for extended periods of time.
Who you are:
- Experienced Prefer you have two (2) years experience operating a Class A tractor trailer.
- Educated You possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and poses a current and valid Class A CDL.
- Knowledgeable Prefer you understand all aspects of driving Class A CDL trucks trucks, to include but not limited to federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Or have a willingness to learn.
- Reliable You demonstrate being able to be relied upon in all situations. You are dependable in character, arrive for your scheduled shift on time, show sound judgment and exhibit consistent performance with excellent results.
What else you need to know:
- Must have a current Class A CDL.
- Must have a valid DOT health card or able to obtain.
- Must have a clean MVR and provide a current copy.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and background screening.
- Reliable transportation.
