We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to operate a frameless dump trailer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from scrap yards and steel mills, ensuring safe and efficient delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of trucks including automatic and manual transmission.
Duties
- Operate frameless dump in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before each trip.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including routes taken and materials transported.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Follow designated routes for delivery while being prepared to adapt to changing conditions or instructions.
- Ensure the truck is kept clean and well-maintained at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in pulling frameless dump trailers is required
- Familiarity with operating various types of trucks
- Experience with route driving and load/unload procedures is highly desirable.
- A valid class A commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
