Job Overview
We are seeking a professional Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to operate truck and hopper bottom trailer, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of sand across designated routes. This role requires a responsible individual with strong driving skills, knowledge of hopper bottoms, and the ability to handle load and unload operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in truck driving, route management, and a commitment to safety standards. This a 1099 position and pays by the load.
Duties
- Operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers and tanker trailers.
- Load and unload sand safely and efficiently at various locations.
- Drive on assigned routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before trips.
- Ensure proper documentation of deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle condition in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage during transportation.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type (manual transmission experience is a plus).
- Proven 2 years experience in truck driving, including sand delivery.
- Knowledge of hopper bottom trailers
- Experience with load & unload procedures and managing freight securely during transit.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation.
- Must possess PEC Safeland and H2S certifications.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past few years.
- Must pass drug test

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,500.00 per week
