We are seeking a dedicated Local Class A Driver to join our team in the United States. Based in your local area, this role is vital in ensuring timely delivery of medical supplies to healthcare facilities and patients. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers to deliver medical supplies.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and healthcare clients to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Proven experience in truck driving, preferably with refrigerated or flatbed trailers.
- Strong knowledge of manual transmission vehicles.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety.
- Ability to load and unload cargo efficiently.
- Good communication skills and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience with route driving is preferred.
