Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage loading and unloading tasks. The Truck Driver will operate tractor-tank trailers, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations. Must be at least 25 years old. If you are just out of driving school you must have had at least 260 hours of training.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles tractors and tank trailers
- Load and unload salt water safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of product.
- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with traffic laws.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding pick up and delivery schedules and any potential delays
Experience
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating various terrains is essential.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Previous experience with loading/unloading salt water
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required for this position.
