Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including operating manual transmission vehicles, Roll off truck, Dump truck, Garbage truck, This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the freight throughout the transportation process.
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of trucks including, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and Garbage trucks
- Execute route driving to deliver freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo details as required by regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations.
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Experience with Roll-off, Dump truck, Garbage truck, or other specialized vehicles is a plus.
- Previous delivery driver experience is highly valued.
- Ability to handle freight efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met.
