Overview:
Logistics Technician I will be responsible for driving, managing, and supervising a 10-passenger van transporting personnel and light cargo. Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean and safe driving record. Technician will be capable of administering safety orientation training, able to create ID badges, maintain manifest, transport light cargo and shuttle personnel while working well with others. Individuals with a Class C Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement able to manage a 25-passenger bus will be eligible for a Logistics Technician II position.
Duties:
- Manifest / shipping outgoing cargo
- Administer safety orientation
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Operate a small jib crane
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate/Bachelor’s preferred however, not necessary).
- Possess light computer skill with ability to learn logistics software
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift/move light items as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Commercial Class C Drivers License with passenger endorsement.
- Previous logistics experience
- Ability to work unsupervised.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment at times with occasional physical demands.
- May involve working shipping docks, or office settings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
