Qualifications:
ValidILLINOISCDL Class Alicense with a minimum of 36 months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
Clean driving record
Ability to pass DOT physical exam
Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests
Possess at least a high school diploma or GED
Basic computer capabilities and know-how to navigate a web browser
Available and willing to teach 40 hours per week
Patient, have strong communication skills, and demonstrate empathy with students
As a CDL Truck Driver Instructor, you'll enjoy a set schedule and be home every night. Your responsibilities will include preparing students for their Pre-Trip, Yard Skills, and Road Driving portions of their exam, monitoring student progress, identifying any gaps, and providing additional assistance as necessary. You'll also emphasize safety concepts, principles, and procedures to ensure that our students are well-prepared for their future careers.
