Job Overview
We are looking for a responsible pickup truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting vehicles over various distances while adhering to safety protocols and delivery schedules. This job involves transporting cars in a 36-foot enclosed trailer.
We are looking for more of a partner than just a driver, as we offer 35% of the gross amount without fuel deductions. That's a net 35%. The truck is a 2021 Ford F350 with 70,000 miles. The job covers the entire USA. There are no overloads, and all operations comply with current U.S. laws and regulations. A commercial driver’s license (CDL A) and experience in vehicle transportation are required.
Please note that this is an enclosed trailer, and the driver will have to exit the vehicle through the window or rear door. Additionally, there is limited space between the car and the trailer wall, which must be used for securing the wheels.
Duties
- Operate trucks with a total capacity of up to 26,000 pounds.
- Transport cargo over short and long distances (the driver should cover at least 450 miles per day).
- Load and unload cargo.
- Ensure cargo is secure and properly loaded.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate driving logs.
- Follow traffic laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in route driving and regional lanes.
- Proficiency in operating trailers and trucks.
- Adequate English language skills.
- Possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL A).
