Engineering Services is part of the Technical Operations in the FAA. We specialize in modernizing, sustaining, and integrating Air Traffic Control Systems into the National Airspace Systems (NAS).
- Provide hands-on support associated with electronics, electrical, carpentry, metal & composite roofing, concrete, plumbing, welding, dry wall, chain-link & iron fencing, painting, masonry, gasoline & diesel mechanic, HVAC, heavy equipment maintenance, operations of heavy machinery and commercial vehicles in supporting the busiest and most complex air space system in the world. Utilize technical manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, FAA procedures and other available publications as guidance for completing assignments.
- Applies experience and detailed technical construction knowledge in order to plan and complete assignments in support of the National Airspace Systems (NAS). Work assignments can be physical and strenuous in nature.
- Duties may include climbing, lifting up to 80 pounds, working in uncomfortable or unusual body positions.
- Majority of work to be performed outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must obtain Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) in the first 6 months of employment and maintain throughout duration of employment in this position.
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
