QTD is now accepting applications for a Store Delivery Driver to work in Chicago, Illinois.
The Primary purpose of this job is to transport QuikTrip merchandise over assigned routes safely and in accordance with all QuikTrip policies and procedures and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Deliver merchandise to designated drop-off point in accordance with QT policies and procedures.
The requirements for this position include: Basic knowledge of tractor/trailers. Must be at least 21 and have a clean driving record, including no DWI/DUI’s for the past 5 years. Must have the ability to learn how to drive a tractor/trailer and back trailer into dock and store parking lot. Driver will be required to lift up to 60 pounds in a product delivery tote or transport up to 300 pounds with the use of a two-wheeler (product often stacked overhead level) to correct area in the store for check-in. Empty totes are loaded on trailer and then unloaded at the warehouse. Must be able to maintain a CDL Class A driver’s license, including but not limited to alcohol/drug test, written exam, driving test, and DMV record check. All CDL training is conducted by an internal QuikTrip Driver Initial Trainer. All costs associated with obtaining your CDL License are covered by QuikTrip.
