Advantage Excavating LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated CDL Class A Driver to join our team. This position offers local driving with a focus on operating a side dump, meaning no long hauls or out-of-town work. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Operate a CDL Class A side dump truck for local projects, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of materials.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations.
Assist with loading and unloading materials as necessary, maintaining a strong focus on safety.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, promptly reporting any mechanical issues.
Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely delivery and project success.
Complete daily logs and other required documentation accurately.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience driving a side dump truck or similar heavy vehicles.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and local driving laws.
Ability to perform minor truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Physical capability to perform duties that may include loading/unloading materials.
Local residency or willingness to commute; no out-of-town travel required.

Full-time
