Overview: CDL-A Construction Worker

Electric Light Company, Inc. is a Traffic Signal & Roadway Lighting Installation/Maintenance company located in Cape Neddick, ME. We are looking for a laborer/CDL license to add to our team. Electric Light services clients in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Vermont.

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions
Ability to be on-call as needed
Ability to travel as needed

Job Responsibilities:

Perform physical tasks at traffic signal intersections and construction sites
Dig trenches and holes using hand tools and machinery
Install conduit, pull boxes, mast arm foundations, and related infrastructure
Operate or assist operators of heavy equipment (excavator, auger truck, vac truck, crane truck)
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Read and follow plans and grades
Lift and carry materials of varying weight
Work effectively as part of a team and follow direction
Control and direct traffic safely when required
Take initiative and show a willingness to learn and grow
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
